The Taylor Police Department is a 39 member full service, civil
service police agency serving a vibrant and growing city of about
15,191. We currently are allotted 27 sworn and 12 non-sworn
positions.
We are located in Central Texas, about
20 miles northeast of Austin, on Highways 95 and US 79.
We are a values based organization with cutting edge technology.

NO EXPERIENCE? NO PROBLEM!
The Taylor Police Department is seeking qualified men and women between the ages
of 20 (must turn 21 by academy graduation) and 44 to join our department as
police recruits. We offer a paid training ($39,756 to start), great
benefits and provide all uniforms and equipment. There is no experience
required.
